5.0.5 (See all)

More often than not, lot of precious time is wasted in performing less significant operations like renaming plenty of files, and all the people who wish to keep their records well organized need to devote a good portion of their time to do so. However to avoid such unnecessary wastage of time in renaming individual files for minutes or even sometimes hours, Batch File Rename is a proficient application helpful in renaming multiple folders and files in one go.

It comes with many renaming schemes such as inserting and appending text, date, time, serial number and so on. The user can remove or replace text, individual characters or a group of characters and convert the lowercase to uppercase or vice-versa and do almost all possible tweaking and manipulations.

The application is also capable of converting files into Share Point compatible as well as Internet compatible formats. It has an HTML log, and provides different features for renumbering number sequences, and renaming the MP3 music files with the help of tags like album, title and the likes of them. The difference between the existing name and the newly assigned name is also highlighted in red color.
